The children of Lagasa community in Lagos, has heeded Lai Mohammed’s call to get themselves gainfully employed by enlisting as masquerade dressers.
The children between the ages of 5 and 11 where today seen on the streets of Lagasa, wearing costumes made from palm fronds to solicit for money from motorists and other road users.
The children, popularly known and referred to as “Jigbo” were armed with canes they use on motorists and other road users who refuse to give them money.
